I’m not sure why it’s so cool to drop the “g” in place of an “‘” but, yeah, so I tried fly fishin’ for the first time the other day and it was great fun!  I’m quite confident that my ungainly cast had nothing to do with the half-dozen fish I caught.  Indeed, one time I literally set my pole down in the boat, the line touched water, and an 18-incher snatched the fake worm and almost jumped into the net.  Nonetheless I got great satisfaction in NOT catching the 6-inch rainbow that my good friend and experienced fisherman Ryan G. caught.  Sorry to say, he threw the fish back before I was able to take the incriminating photo of such a small sucker.
